The ARGO AR-822 is a Single Zone Swtichering relay with 1 N.O. and 1 N.C contacts.
This relay has a rated current from 2.0A to 6.0A and voltage of 125VAC, 250VAC, or 277VAC. The single zone switching relay is an electromechanical solid state control device which incorporates solid state electronics, electromagnetic systems and a mechanical device into one assembly. Dependability is provided by a thermal overload on the AC input secondary overload on the DC output, which will protect against damage in case of abnormal load conditions.
The ARGO Zoning Controller is an industrial single-zone switching relay designed specifically for DIYers to integrate custom control systems into their garage doors. The ARGO Zoning Controller's innovative circuitry produces a solid state, low impedance load capable of operating heavy duty commercial door operators such as those made by Overhead Door Corporation.
This Single Zone Relay is used to provide switching control for one load of up to 8 Amps at 240 Volt AC. This particular relay is housed in a compact DIN rail case measuring 15 x 5.7 mm with 22 terminals and includes mounting hardware.
These eight- and sixteen-channel SPDTs are recommended for applications necessitating the supply of a set of loads from one power source. In single-zone switching schemes, these relays should be used where each zone requires its own source of power from a common primary.
A single-zone solenoid that directly connects to the MICROPROCESSOR. The output can be implemented in one of two ways:
ARGO AR822 Series Single Zone Transformers are switching transformers with isolated secondary wiring. They can be used with any switch type (SPST, SPDT, DPDT, or 3PDT). The ZONE terminals on the AR822 can be used to change the length of time a light is illuminated by up to 100%. This feature is useful when the load may stay lit for an extended period of time after the input signal has stopped.
