Our Proto Tools manufacturing facility is proud to introduce the GW-1608 6 Point Socket with 1/4" Drive. This 6-point design will help prevent rounding off of lug nuts while removing them from vehicles with smaller lug nut holes. The 1/4" drive will provide more torque for removal and tightening of lug nuts on your vehicle.

The Proto By GW-1608 6 point socket with 1/4-inch drive and a standard 1/4-inch square drive is an ideal solution to the difficulty of tackling odd jobs around the home. This tool makes it easier to change the spark plugs on your car, including 5.0 and newer Mustang engines, or tighten the lug nuts on those hard-to-reach wheels.

With a full 1/4" drive size and 6-point opening, the Proto HTGW1608 socket is built to last through even the toughest torque applications. Proto has also included a rubber ring around the base to absorb vibration and impact from dropped tools.
