The SOLA Y/H AL 40-60HP 12 propellers are available in diameters of 3.75", 4.11" and 4.56", offering optimal thrust for foil or inboard applications. The increased diameter of these props comes at a weight penalty, and the Y/H's will be approximately 22 to 37% heavier than comparable H or X Series props of the same pitch. If you are looking for an aluminum propeller that can take a beating, these props are a great option.

The SOLAS Science & Engineering Propeller YA is a four blade, open water all around aluminum reverse pitch propeller. This new design has a wide chord in the center with tapered chord blades on the end which creates a highly efficient design that allows for higher boat speeds with less horsepower. The blade tips are designed to reduce stress risers and eliminate tip loss associated with reverse pitch props. The reverse pitch propeller also reduces cavitation by reducing negative torque at the beat, but still provides positive thrust on plane.
