The WELL TEMP SEN 6 is a welded-in terminal direct-reading device from Johnson Controls used for sensing, measuring, and controlling temperatures in industrial furnaces. There are 3 versions of the WELL TEMP SEN 6: Nickel, Stainless Steel, and Copper Alloy. The WELL TEMP SEN 6 directly senses the temperature of the bath or furnace wall. It does not require a thermocouple or wiring to a remote contactor to prevent a failure within the contactor due to a thermally induced voltage breakdown. This eliminates potential problems associated with long wires and small loop resistance requirements.

The WELL TEMP Temperature Sensor made by Johnson Controls comprises nickel. It's suitable for use with 1 wire NTC thermistor or thermocouple systems to provide display of system temperature. The sensor is intended for use in indoor applications to enhance energy efficiency for building operation

The WELL TEMP Sensor supplies information to your Johnson Controls heat pump, air conditioner, or air-source heat pump control that the outdoor unit has reached the setpoint selected by the thermostat.
