THERMISTOR

The THERMISTOR (lower limit) has a low voltage disconnect circuit with an adjustable disconnect point that stops power to the cooking unit if it reaches a certain temperature. This causes the control to go into a lockout mode and lock out the power burner until the THERMISTOR cools down and an adjustable timer resets. Replace if the ceramic on the THERMISTOR is cracked or broken.

The THERMISTOR is a safety device that shuts off the unit if the coolant becomes overheated.

This part is a 300 Watt, 4 wire, 1/2 inch stud thermistor.
