Our Vulcan 461027 thermostat with a dial is a direct bolt on replacement for the old style ring type thermostat that was factory installed on many of the lower end, industry standard gas fireplaces built from 1989-1999. With a dial/knob controller and a 3/16" x 8" knob hex, this product will work on most brand name B/J/W/A gas fires. The control knob's housing is 4.5 inches long x 1 inch wide and comes with a black knob cover.
