TP-SCPOE-2448-HP is a 60W, 24V battery charger for 48V POE output devices. It works with the B5xx series of plug in Access Points and other devices in the TYCON Systems family. The charger comes with a power supply at the back of the unit so you can easily mount it in any location rather than having to rely on an extension cord and bulky power strip. To increase safety, TP-SCPOE-2448-HP has an integrated wire sensing capability that will not let the charger come on when the proper cabling is not in place

This 24V, 60W charger features a "Power-On" indicator LED. Red indicates power on and green indicates charging status. Charges 48V PoE compliant 24V/36V battery packs in 24 hours or less. 2-wire input, 4 wire output with internal reverse current protection. Operates from 32°F to 122°F ambient environment. Typical applications include: Networking and Telecom, Digital Signage and Surveillance Equipment, Energy Management and Control Systems.

The TP-SCPOE-2448-HP charger is a single channel SMPS designed to deliver 60W. It comes with mounting holes for tower installations, along with screw terminal connection to the battery. It has a maximum input voltage of 550VAC, 36VDC input voltage range at 0-95% rated load which makes it suitable for battery charging.
