The United Aqua Group 42001-0053S THERMISTOR, MASTERTEMP-MAX™ is a replacement part for the MaxTemp service kit. The MaxTemp Service Kit (42001-0053) is used with all MasterTemp™ series systems. This thermostat is an electrical device used in conjunction with the MasterTemp shutoff switch to protect water and heat from dangerously low pressure. It protects the pump from overheating and prevents the formation of air bubbles and excessive foaming during recirculation in the heating system.
