ORP SENSOR INTELLICHEM

The ORP sensor IntelliChem monitors ORP value (oxidation/reduction potential) in the water. It is designed for applications where the effluent stream has to be protected against over-oxidation. The sensor has been developed by Conley Co, Inc. in order to meet OEM specifications of one our customers, and is manufactured to that original design.

The United Aqua Group 522187 ORP Sensor Intellichems are for use in monitoring ORP of water. These Intellichems are pre-calibrated and easy to install and use. They can be used to monitor the ORP values of water, or can be used as an alerting device for when there is a rapid change in the ORP values of water.

The United Aqua Group 522187 ORP Sensor is used by the Conley Co. It measures the voltage of redox potential and displays it in numerical form. This sensor is primarily used in fish tanks, but can also be used for pools and spas.

The ORP sensor is designed to measure the oxidation-reduction potential of your water source. This is more commonly known as the redox potential, and it directly relates to the toxicity of your water. If you have a lot of sulfur in your water, you will want to install an ORP sensor so that you can adjust the amount of hydrogen peroxide being produced to eliminate the sulfur.

The United Aqua Group 522187 ORP Sensor is a replacement probe for the IntelliChem ORP1 pH meter. It is needed to measure the color change of the dye in an ORP cell under various conditions.

The ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) of water is a quantitative measure of the ability of water to oxidize and reduce other substances. ORP is measured in millivolts, with a positive number representing the potential for oxidation. The higher the ORP reading, the greater the oxidizing potential and potential for corrosion. We recommend setting your ORP level at zero or negative for water with an average content of hardness minerals below 80ppm. The Multi Sensor ORP + TDS works with the AquaChek chemistry lines of products to function as a water quality meter. Comparison of ORP and TDS readings can be used to determine the presence of free chlorine, chloramines, and ferrous iron in pool or spa water. This sophisticated ORP sensor automatically controls ORP and pH to maintain a high level of sanitation in your pool, spa or spas. Its probe is made with precious metals (Ag/AgCl) and is highly accurate, stable and durable.

This ORP sensor is used for measuring dissolved oxygen at redox potential of -200 mV to +1000 mV. This sensor comes with a standard 1/4" NPT inlet and outlet. The electrical connection has the standard 4-wire cable configuration (red, black, white and yellow) Our ORP sensor works on 4-20 ma current loop signal outputs.
