The Johnson Controls V47AB-3C V47AB-3C 1/2" TEMPERATURE ACTUATED WATER VALVE is designed to provide freeze protection from a fixed or potable water supply and also provides heating (natural or forced) and/or mixing capability for the water.

With the Johnson Controls 1/2" Temperature Actuated Water Valve, you'll be able to refit your humidifier or build a new system with each model's built-in capabilities. Durable and efficient, this solid brass water valve is designed to work with appliances such as boilers, furnaces, refrigeration systems, and air conditioner chillers.

The V47AB-3C 1/2" Temperature Actuated Water Valve by Johnson Controls is a polished chrome water valve. It has a flow restriction of 0.75 GPM and an operation temperature range of 4 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This product is ideal for water systems such as air conditioning, refrigeration, and swimming pool and spa heaters.

The Johnson Controls V47AB-3C Water Valves are used for 1/2" exposed piping applications that require a spring loaded bonnet and brass bonnet screw. The ball style poppet valve remains fully exposed as the water temperature approaches 212 degrees F causing the ball to seal shutting off the flow of water.

THERMOSTAT WATER VALVE

Designed for residential or commercial applications, the V47AB-3C provides reliable temperature control for water heating, chiller applications, hydronic radiant systems, etc. The V47AB-3C is easily installed with either direct or indirect water flow and features a 1/2" male threaded NPT inlet/outlet connections.

Simple and compact design, easy to operate on/off switch on handle. Stainless steel actuator needle valve G¼", IP66, IP67 stainless steel housing, stainless steel T-spring and diaphragm on handle with OPVC (Santoprene) gasket. Nylon on-off lever on stem.

Constant water temperature is an essential part of the Eco-Chiller LCW process, and Johnson Controls has designed new valving to ensure this constant temperature.
