The Johnson Controls 75/135F Variable Valve Temperature Actuated model V47AB-5 is a thermally protected valve to control steam or hot water. It is used in many industrial applications including steam heat, mill process heating and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The Johnson Controls V47AB-5 Valve Temperature Actuated Flow Control Valve controls hot and cold water flow to a unit to maintain a constant water temperature. 75/135 Degrees Fahrenheit

The V47AB-5, actuator valves regulate and control water temperature to provide safe, comfortable domestic hot water. These valves are factory preset to either a 75° or 135°F (± 3°) range before they leave the factory. The normal operating position is at the "135°F" mark.

The Johnson Controls V47AB-5 Valve Temperature Actuated Horizontal duplex (Patent Pending) is made of durable, sanitary (NSF listed) plastic and stainless steel for use in commercial food service applications. This valve is designed for use with steam table and chafing dish heating units. It has a temperature adjustment range of 100-335°F. The temperature actuator will move up or down depending upon the setting of the dial control that adjusts the valve to either higher or lower temperatures between 75° and 100°F.
