The Venstar 1-Day 2H/2C Program Thermostat is designed to control two stages of heating and two stages of cooling for two different periods per day. It can be programmed to operate in Standard Mode or Smart Mode, and each stage is adjustable by 0.5 degrees in ambient temperature rise or fall per hour. With Standard Mode you can set times for comfort. The thermostat will raise the temperature to a comfortable level prior to occupancy, then maintain comfort while occupied, then lower temperature before departure. With Smart Mode you can program the sensor to adjust temperature based on time of day plus weather conditions.
