The Johnson Controls 282541 1/2" 2W BALL VALVE 1.2CV BRASS TRIM SPRING CLOSED 2-way ball valve is designed for low flow applications in residential, commercial, and industrial gas appliances.

The 1/2" 2W Ball Valve 1.2CV is a brass trim, spring closed valve designed for commercial and industrial use. The maximum pressure rating for this valve is 265 psi and the flow rate is 0.8 GPM at 70 psi.

Make retrofit installations easier with the Johnson Controls (JCI) 1/2" 2W ball valve and brass trim. The brass trim makes this ball valve easier to install and the stainless steel ball allows for long-term use. The new valves work on multi-port valves as well as on multi-position valves; they work on multi-position valves as a 2 port off position, as a 3 port cut off and as a 4 port normally closed.

The Johnson Controls 1/2 outlet 2 way ball valve is designed to control the flow of liquids, gases, and steam in refrigeration systems. Since the valves are constructed of brass, they are highly resistant to corrosion. This design uses a spring-loaded ball for good shutoff at high temperatures. Also, the unit is inherently self-cleaning with an effective anti-drip feature that makes its use less complicated.
