The Johnson Controls 37578 valve is a 2-way N.O. pneumatic valve assembly with a 1/2" NPT male thread inlet and outlet. The operating pressure range for this 2-way valve is 0 to 5 PSI (0 to 35 kPa). The 37578 has an aluminum body with fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) seats. It can hold heat up to 1000°F (538°C).

This 2-way regulator valve, N.O., Pneumatic, Brass Valve Body is for use with air compressor valves used in pneumatic control systems. The double-action, spring return design is self-operated and does not require an external source of power. Unloaded lift is 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 ft.

The controls for this valve assembly are located on the front of the chassis. The controls consist of a lockout, manual lever, and an automatic reset. The control is normally open (N.O.) when the manual lever is at the maximum clockwise position and the automatic reset is within timing limits specified in applicable standards, Standard Air Pressure (SAP) with 0 - 175 psi differential pressure at 125 deg F (52 deg C). Turnoff occurs when travel of the actuator is counterclockwise past the lockout position.
