The Johnson Controls 36472 1-1/2" IPS 2-WAY N.O. WATER/STEAM PNEUMATIC VALVE features a noise reducing design which makes it ideal for applications where noise is a concern. The swing check valve, usually found on steam applications only, prevents water from backing up into the steam supply, ensuring that water will not leak into the steam supply line during start up of shrinkage due to condensation prior to activation of steam system. The built in venting capability of this valve is ideal for relieving system pressure where moisture accumulation may occur.
