The Johnson Controls VG7243LT 3/4" 2-Way N.O. Valve Body is used with Residential Low Cost Air Handler units with a factory installed 2-way valve assembly (Residential Application). This is replacement part for products manufactured by the following manufacturers:

"The VG7243LT valve body is used to power and control a 3/4" two-way, normally closed valve to divert water flow from the main to the auxiliary drain system. The valve body contains a high mechanical life stainless steel spool and stem, nylon poppet seat and spring, and stainless steel bonnet for fluid seal integrity. It also prevents backflow of process fluid through the isolation valve."

The Johnson Controls 38121 is a 3/4" NPT 2 way valve used on evaporator and condenser coils to control cooling and heating. This model has no SS and is BODY ONLY.

The VG7243LT valve body is designed to control refrigerant flow and perform refrigerant metering functions with a power driver device such as the 38139A. The zero position of the valve is controlled by a diaphragm and is open to atmosphere. The two-way directional valves operate independently and provide four basic directions of refrigerant flow: suction, discharge, suction and discharge (double swing), and exhaust and suction (two way normally closed). The VG7243 2-way valve features a stainless steel body with easy purge feature, stainless steel spool with flexible bonnet, ceramic guide assembly, flexible stem packing, quarter turn throw handle and a self-lubricating packing gland.

The Johnson Controls 38121 2-way, thermostatic valve with a cast iron body and 316 stainless steel trim is designed for use with either 3/4" or 1" diameter copper tube. The valve body has a robust cast iron construction for durability and dependability.
