1/2 in. 3WAY mixing brass globe valve, 4.6 Cv, NPT

Johnson Controls Part # 127581 1/2 in. 3WAY mixing brass globe valve, 4.6 Cv, NPT

This 1/2 in. 3WAY mixing brass globe valve is designed for single-point pressure drop service and normally open service with partial flow, is perfect for high temperature use, has a relatively small orifices size, is used for low to medium pressure water heating system applications, and works at temperatures up to TJC045

The Johnson Controls 127581 mixing globe valve is ideal for turning off or mixing between hot and cold waters. It has a pipe size of 1/2 inch and is made of brass. It can handle up to 4.6 CV. For lasting energy efficiency, the Johnson Controls 127581 requires reliable operation over time.

The 127581 has a 1/2 inch NPT size, a 4.6 Cv dynamic rating, a straight stem design and a mixing globe design. The 127581 is designed for wetting agents and coolants, pool and spa, laboratory chemicals and instrumentation. It is made of brass materials with an SFPM rating of 58.

A globe valve operates like a gate, controlling the flow of liquids and gases. This globe valve features a 1/2" FNPT inlet and outlet and is designed for pressures up to 150 PSI. It has a 4.6 C-V and requires a body conductor to operate the control signal.

The JCI Mix-N-Match valve is a mix-and-match globe valve. As always, all valves are made in the USA and are assembled in JCI's Philadelphia plant. The valve to the left is the 1/2'' nipple, this side has an inside stem which threads into 2'' pipe. The valve to the right is the section to the left, you can see that it has an outside stem, this stem screws into 1'' threaded pipe. The intermediate piece extends out of 1'' plumbing to accept the next stud in line.

This globe valve has long life; reduces water consumption; easy-to-turn handle; direct acting.

These valves are available in brass or 316 stainless steel and configurations to accommodate hot and cold water, as well as hot and chilled water. A variety of different diaphragm materials and glands can be used to create a valve meeting the relevant standards: ANSI/ASME A112.18.1, ANSI/ASME A112.18.2, ASSE 1016. This globe valve is an ideal solution for retro-fitting existing installations such as boilers, steam plants and chillers with all the benefits of flexible flow control without disturbing service lines or pipe work."

The Johnson Controls 127581 is a one piece globe valve that features low flow rates and 3/8 inch drains, as well as a fine adjustment on the stem to enable maximum control at all water pressures

Johnson Controls has also been designing and building valves since 1883. Our line of valves is designed to help you manage your comfort and air conditioning systems throughout the year.

Is a valve a part of a plumbing line's supply or return system? The answer is 'Yes', since valves are used to control flow both ways in lines. They are important in supplying hot and cold water for sinks, showers, dishwashers, washing machines, and ice makers. Some valves are used in heating systems to regulate the flow of hot water.
