The VR8345H455 is an Intermittent-start permanent split capacitor (PSC) furnace equipped with a direct spark ignition (DISI) system to facilitate reliable ignition in the event of a power shortfall. The VR8345H455 24 Vac Dual Direct Ignition/Intermi furnace has a standard two stage thermostat and an oversized 9.000 BTU per hour blower motor.

Honeywell's VR8345H455 and VR8345H455 are individually packaged versions of same basic 24 Vac Dual Direct Ignition (DDI)/Inter-Matic® control system.

This Direct Ignition/Intermittent Pilot Valve has a square design and an exposed pilot valve for direct control. It features a 360-degree check valve to prevent gas from leaking or escaping, and its ergonomic handle enables comfortable operation.

The VR8345H455 is a reliable and durable 2 stage direct ignition/intermittent pilot solenoid valve. The VR8345H455 operates as a Direct Ignition (DI) valve during normal burner operation.

The VR8345 with dual direct ignition system has a 45,000 Btu/hr heating capacity. It is equipped with a stainless steel top burners and comes with a cast iron grate. Equipped with Catalytic Burner System that reduces creosote buildup.

This unit has a bright green pilot burner and a blue pilot burner for dual ignition. Both pilot burners have flame out protection and audible pilot lights. This unit operates on 24 vac with two normal household (120 vac) circuits, each carrying 1/2 the total load. The 30 amp circuit should supply 5400 watts, the 20 amp circuit should supply 3200 watts. All units are CSA listed to Canadian Standards Association 620 and UL 186 ratings.
