Ferguson Xtra-Flo PEX Expansion Tubing (also known as cross-linked polyethylene tubing or PEX tubing with a cross-linking agent added in the molding process) is manufactured from PEX and is recommended for hot and cold water distribution lines, hydronic radiant heating systems, and solar water heating systems. It has been modified to withstand exposure to natural sun light for long periods of time, often found on roofs where solar collectors are located.

PEX QQCL12X is a PEX tube made of Polyolefin (PE) with a 3/8" OD, 12" Length, and 0.38" OD. This is a 100' length of PEX tubing and it has an inner diameter of 0.38". It also has Polyolefin (PE) as the material for the tubing which is a thermoplastic polymer that shares some properties with polyethylene (PE). PEX tubing can be used for potable water applications up to 200°F and for non-potable water systems featuring hot and cold water systems up to 180°F.
