The VENT SHIELD DEFLECTOR by Williams Comfort Products allows you to easily convert your fixed louvered fireplace opening into a variable vent. This deflector offers adjustable capacity between 40% & 60% of your firebox opening. A louvered floor screen that features a built-in damper will be required. The VENT SHIELD DEFLECTOR is ideal for use with the Tall Deluxe Inserts(PC 4340) where vents are installed on the side of the firebox instead of the bottom. The VENT SHIELD DEFLECTOR easily attaches to new or existing installations with screws for easy removal if required.

Our VENT SHIELD deflector fits on most brands of RV air conditioners (does not fit on Perfect Flow or Artic Cool brand air conditioners). It is designed to be permanently mounted with 5 screws through the vent into the roof. The shield redirects air flow which keeps it from blowing down on you, and reduces condensation on the screen, thus ensuring you will not have water dripping on you while the unit is running.
