This water temperature sensor is a spare part for all York GSM (Gas Steam Modulators) and it measures the approximate water temperature at the boiler inlet.This sensor can be used with any York GSM which have the ring terminal connector.

The York Water Temperature Sensor makes it easy to monitor the water temperature in any of your York gas or electric hot water heaters.

The digital water temperature sensor (Model # 025-29964-000) is used with the Y00C11, Z00C21 and the Y00C22 control panels. The sensor has a 3/8" NPT pipe thread on one end and an O-ring seal on the other end. The thermistor serves as a temperature sensing device connected to the Control Unit. Position the sensor thermistor at the location in the hot water circulation system that you want to sense for temperature

The York Water Temperature Sensor permits you to connect the boiler or service line of a single zone heating system (which is equipped with a circulating pump) to an external water temperature sensor. The thermostat in the sensor module controls the water temperature by switching on and off, thus helping to avoid overheating and to relieve temperatures in case of overheat.

This temperature sensor attaches to your tank and sends you a text message if the water temperature drops below a specified point.
