York's Flame Sensor is designed to alert you of a potential fire in the venting system. It is used to close gas shut-offs or open dampers when it senses flame.

The S102530801000 flame sensor is a 1 gang wallplate-mount type, 1.4nF, anti-differential, 60VDC, 2A RMS trip current, stainless steel sensor that is used to sense or not sense gas flames for residential gas fireplaces.
