The York S1 series units use a scroll compressor and a liquid-cooler to produce very high efficiency ratings when compared with conventional reciprocating compressors. No oil is used in the liquid cooler for this scroll system. Upon the discharge of the liquid-filter-drier unit, a liquid filter drier is utilized. The liquid filter drier cleans the liquid from the air and, when the liquid is clean, it can be used again in its neck reservoir for recooling.

This product offers continuous filtration through the use of permanent cartridges. Cartridges are continuously wetted with filtered water, which results in higher efficiency of the filter, therefore increasing production.
