The Z300042 Valve,Quiet Check 2"Pvc/Union/Solvent-Weld/PVC is a direct factory replacement for any existing Zoeller pump. This Zoeller quiet check valve assembly uses the traditional quarter-turn, Zurn style hand lever type valve.

The ZOELLER 30-0042 2" x 3/4" PVC Union is a component in various ZOELLER plumbing products. It is constructed of ANSI-approved PVC that is suitable for systems using potable water, and it will connect two pieces of PVC pipe together while preventing backflow.

The quiet check 2" PVC union solvent weld system is easy to install and simplifies plumbing. Usable for both residential and light commercial applications, this system is the same used by most professional plumbers.  The valve and cap are ABS plastic, which makes this a good replacement part. The port swivels 15 degrees to open for horizontal or vertical pipe application.

The Z300042 is a standard American plumbing valve that is designed for use in both hot and cold applications. The valve allows water while preventing the backflow of debris, making them useful in plumbing systems. The body of this type of valve is made out of plastic-coated brass, which protects it from denting and corrosion. This valve has a 2" female pipe end size and is constructed from plastic. It also features a metal adjusting screw located under the handle, as well as a flow control assembly that allows for handling various amounts of water pressure, depending on user preference

The quiet check valve is not a check valve in the strictest meaning of the term, but rather an air-inlet block. It stops gas from backing up into the hose, but if no gas is flowing it stays closed to keep water out of the system. Fits Hubbell 3/4" straight pattern CGA320 valves and tested with chlorinated hydrocarbon/fusible hydraulic, chlorinated hydrocarbon/non-fusible hydraulic and synthetic hydrocarbon/fusible hydraulic fluids.
