To install a Pre-Crimped PEX Tube you simply follow 3 simple steps. 1. Turn the tube 180° at the crimp position, slip the cover cap over it and crimp it in place by using a PEX Crimp Tool directly on the tube without having to compress it first. 2. Insert the tube into the fitting and apply force so that all of the exposed tube is inside. 3. Finish by tightening the terminal screw to create a water-tight seal with the fitting.
