The P1000A Series is a zurn poppet style relief valve that provides protection for plumbing systems and equipment against excessive pressure caused by fire pumps and other sources of pressure in excess of 100 psi. It is normally set at 150 psi to prevent the release of contaminated water into the drainage system.

Zurn Wilkins P1000A Series Pressure Relief Valves are designed to provide relief from excess pressure on domestic potable water systems. These pressure relief valves meet ANSI Z21.22/CSA 4.4 and are 3/4" poppet type, 200,000 BTU and have a lead free vitrified porcelain seat.
