The RHEEM 232286 /Ruud Kit - Flow Switch is a two by two inch replacement for a device used in gas-fired water heaters. It regulates gas flow to the water heater and therefore helps ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Add hot water to your tank instantly with this flow switch. Kit includes sensor and control box, and creates and installs in minutes. All-Star heat pump models that use two sensors should have one of each. Part numbers are 23219264 or 23225454.

This kit includes the main flow switch which is a normally open switch. It is used when 2 pumps are being run off of 1 controller (common with rooftop units) for example a secruar pump (condenser) and an in-line booster pump, or for one unit that runs multiple pumps.

The Rheem Flow Switch is a safety device designed for use on most Ruud brand gas furnace applications, including models: GLR90A, GLR125A, GLR140A, PGL90A, PGL125A.
