The Nordyne 01-0115 is an Industrial Quality, 24V, 40 ampere contactor. This contactor has no current limit adjustment and is used for starting high current inductive loads. The 01-0115 employs a horizontal design that reduces the amount of wire required to connect across the terminals, providing a compact external size. The 01-0115 Contactor C is lead free and UL Recognized. The Contactor is a solid state, zero voltage switch constructed of thermoplastic molded cases with screw terminal connections. It is designed to be used as a variable speed drive contactor in applications having operating cycles up to 3ms at rated coil current and rated magnetic force. It has a current rating of 40A at 24 volts. Although made for 110VAC it will work on 220 VAC and 240 VAC with proper wiring.
