The Baldwin 0321 031 SURFACE BOLT 3 is a 32 gauge type 1 zinc primed steel. It is designed to hold an object in place through bearing, friction and gravity.

The Baldwin 0321 031 SURFACE BOLT 3 provides a secure and stable fastening option for bolts exposed to the elements. This welded nut is connected to a shank that is embedded into concrete or poured concrete. The hex head of this bolt features an enlarged surface contact area that helps protect it against corrosion and contamination.

The Baldwin 0321 031 Surface Bolt 3 features a 7/8-inch diameter shank-machined to accept 10D washers with a quarter-turn handle. It comes complete with a fastening key and wrench.

The Surface Bolt 3 is specifically designed for large projects, with a maximum finish capacity of 3 ¼ inches, and the ability to drive lag screws, bolts and fasteners up to 4 ½ inches in even the hardest materials. The oversized, spring-loaded pilot tip and magnetic driver provide positive engagement with the screw or bolt head every time.
