Our Baldwinsville Plant has been in operation since 1907. In the mid 1950's, Baldwin started producing Dutch door quadrant, an exterior door style that is still produced today. Quadrants are a preferred choice for porches and other applications where a solid exterior door and louvered interior door are desired. They always come with mortise lock unit on the inside of the house and match all our fire rated doors.

A quadrant is a type of door used on Dutch doors. Compared to a double door, a quadrant door has one half-sized full door and two small sized panel sections. Quadrants were originally developed for the building trades to provide natural ventilation in areas where space is limited. This quadrant door is commonly used as an exterior garage door or sometimes as a wall adjacent to a stove fireplace.
