It is made from high speed steel and has 3 parts: an 11-inch straight spindle, a 1/2 inch round tenon, and ½ inch Jaws chuck. The aluminum handle is a 2-inch 6061- T6 hex bar, has two 1/2"-20 male threaded inserts, and is knurled for a better grip.
