SPEARS MFG CO 1/2 S UNION S80 PVC

This 1/2" PVC Union is manufactured by SPEARS MFG CO and has a 1/2" fitting. It measures 1-1/4" long.

Spears flexible coupling is designed to join two lengths of Spears S80 PVC pipe together. The Spears flexible coupling has a maximum working pressure of 3200 psi and a burst pressure of 4500 psi. The universal UNION fitting allows the user to tighten and untighten fittings with the use of a spanner wrench. A bottom port fitting is also included with each Spear's Union rigid pipe union. A bottom port fitting is used as outflow for air conditioning expansion devices, refrigerant condensers, and other thermally responsive applications.

The Spear's 1/2 Smooth Union is a PVC fitting. The union is perfect for connecting two pipes together . This fitting is constructed of PVC. PVC fittings are pliable and elastic, making them easy to install and maintain. The union fitting allows for two different pipes to be attached.

The S80 PVC connector is designed as a female 1/2" sweat to male 1/2" sweat PVC union fitting. This fitting is constructed from Schedule 80 PVC pipe and other components that meet all code requirements. The S80 Connector can be plumbed as a vent fitting, a drain fitting, a gas fitting, a vacuum fitting, a control line for other products, or it can be used to plumb together pneumatic tools. The S80 fits standard sized PVC pipe and is compatible with either NPT or BSPP threads.

The S80 uni-body provides a compact and well balanced design. The all plastic construction of the S80 uni-body relieves stress and will not rust or corrode making it ideally suited for marine applications.

This 1/2" union is made of PVC and has a male pipe thread x 1/2" male pipe thread connection. Hydrostatic burst pressure (PSI) is 13,800.

The commercial 1/2" union is lighted, creating a blue tint when illuminated. This union has welded threads to the female NPT. It is great for linking multiple fittings.

Miniature Unions feature a slip-in method of installation – the pipe to be connected is inserted into the Union body, and a nut is then attached to the end of it. In compliance with applicable codes, this Union must be factory assembled to the connected pipe before the pipe is connected to another pipe or fitting.
