The Mastercool MSC1/4 45 Degree and Double Flaring Die Set features 1/4" (10mm) dies, designed to flare 1/8" to 3/16". The 45 degree die design allows for multiple flaring angles that are required for a variety of tube joints. Perfect for automotive work, mild steel, copper tubing, brass or aluminum tubing. Each flare can be done in less than 10 seconds.

These Mastercool (MSC-) die sets are designed for use in the die set machines made by our parent company, California Tool Company. The 45-degree (MST-45) & Double flaring (MSC-6) die sets fit First Gear flaring machines and impingement/pull type flaring machines.

The Mastercool MSC71097-14 combines the 45 degree and double flare dies necessary for most flaring applications into one convenient set. Works with Mastercool MSC flaring tools only.

The ideal set for the perfect flare every time. This set includes one 45 degree die and one double flare die. 45 Degree die is used when the flared tube will be straight or off-set at an angle. Double flare die is used for offsets greater than 15º. Die sets are manufactured with hardened steel, precision ground and hand polished to assure accurate dimensions and finish. Each set has a 1/8" thick precision ground solid steel adapter which contains two hardened steel pins to align flaring dies to die adapters, providing you with least possible amount of runout. The Mastercool MSC71097-14 Die Set is constructed of steel, with zinc finish and is designed for safe and easy double flaring. Its 45 degree die is double flaring head allows you to flare hose ends in tight areas. A three piece assembly includes a collet, die and flaring head. It is easy to use with its manual hand wheel handle. To ensure quality, this product is factory tested.
