These premium quality kits are available in both grade 5 (306 MPa) and grade 8 (2430 MPa). All kits are rated at 221 ksi ultimate tensile strength, and feature a black coating for added protection against corrosion.

The HEL5407-2 Coil-In-Hole Thread repair system is a revolutionary approach to repairing stripped threads. The thread repair system uses a high tensile strength HeliCoil insert, combined with an aluminum installation tool for stripped 1/8-27 pipe threads in steel and stainless steel applications. This Helicoil pipe thread repair kit includes the HEL5406-2 Heli-Coil Insert, HS-52 Heli-Drive, and the HEL0407-2 holding clamp. The replacement of a damaged helicoil insert with a helical coil insert is an effective method for repairing damaged threads in oil field equipment. Installing a heli-coil repair into a damaged hole provides sufficient strength to restore proper operating conditions.
