The ROBERTSHAW 15496 Carrier/BDP Remote Flame Sensor is a replacement sensor kit which is used to replace an existing flame sensor in a Carrier or Bryant or Payne Bryant (BDP) natural gas fireplace. The remote flame sensor kit has a flame characteristic of a long, steady yellow glow and is made to order.

The Carrier/BDP remote flame sensor replaces the Carrier Helix LH33WZ511 remote flame detector and fits into the housing. It should be replaced if it has been exposed to extreme heat such as a fire.

The Carrier Remote Flame Sensor is a replacement flame sensor for use with carrier/bryant heat pump systems. It monitors the combustion chamber and flame area to ensure proper operation of the system. If the flame sensor is located away from the burner, it will also alert you if gas leaks into the area.

The Remote Flame Sensor is designed for use with Carrier and Bradford White RH33WZ511. The seal on the sensor should be replaced upon initial installation into the range and at each subsequent service interval, approximately once a year or when it appears to have been damaged due to physical impact, burn-through from high flame impingement or excessive thermal cycling.
