Limit switch on your furnace is a critical component keeping you and your family safe. If your furnace limit switch is not working properly, you could be put at danger. When the furnace switch is broken and not functioning correctly, it needs to be replaced immediately. The Goodman limit switch 160° manual reset 162328 has been designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications for this furnace component.

If your furnace is not turning on and should, take a look at the limit switch. A Goodman 162328 limit switch can be used to replace the Amana furnace limit switch 160° manual reset. If the new Goodman 162328 limit switch has a different configuration than current limit switch, you may need a new wiring harness (Part Number: HL175X10037B).

This is for a Goodman replacement limit switch, for a 3-speed nodal blower. This is the manual reset type with lever and spring attached to the body. Packet of 3 as shown in the photos.

This Goodman furnace limit switch Blower Limit Switch replaces the OEM limit switch for Goodman hot air furnaces. The Goodman Limit Switch contains a time delay function to allow the furnace to run for a certain period of time before shutting off. It also comes in a Manual Reset Type that allows the limit control to be manually reset after operation has been interrupted. The blower limit switch has a delay of approximately 60 seconds before cutting off the blower motor.

Goodman limit switches are designed to stop the blower when the furnace flue compartment door is opened, in order to prevent carbon monoxide (CO) from being emitted into your home. The limit switch should be checked at the beginning of each heating season and replaced if damaged or missing. Goodman limit switches have a 3/8 inch diameter and measure approximately 15/32 inches long for push in terminals, or 1/8 inch diameter and measure approximately 14/32 inches long for stud mount terminals.
