120-160F AUTO Limit Switch

This Limit Switch is used to control the burner output. The limit switch turns off the power to the gas valve when a certain temperature is reached. Once the limit sensor detects a rapid increase in temperature, it extends a copper link that opens the gas valve stopping the flow of fuel. This switch is 120-160F AUTO so you don't have to worry about adjusting it to work with your system.

The 3" Limit Switch is made of glass filled nylon. It features a temperature range of 120 to 160F and power range of 0.5-0.25 amps DC. It utilizes a 3 wire wiring and terminal connections. The signal action is NONE/OFF/NORMAL. It is designed to control gas and oil fired furnaces, water heaters, furnace fans, pool heaters, discharge lamps, and other electrical equipment having similar characteristics.
