A control that regulates the temperature of an air-cooled commercial refrigerator. It is used in conjunction with the grille and duct assembly, to regulate the temperature of a number of display cases. (Defrost Control S – Defrosting Solid State)

The DEFROST control automatically opens and closes the freezer door as necessary, helping to prevent frost from building up on the evaporator coils. It's a great feature if you live in a very cold climate, or if tend to pack the freezer with packages of meat and other frozen foods that require frequent access.

The ICP Heil Defrost Control S is one of the many products provided by ICP, a company that specializes in Venting Systems. The Heil Defrost Control S is Class 1 and for use on GPI, UVC, and Modular applications.

This product allows for the control of defrost interval with the touch of a button.

The ICP 1087562 is equipped with an easy to use Energy Saver Control S-Series. This feature regulates outdoor air flow so that air does not enter the freezer compartment when the door is shut or you are not using it. It also prevents frost on the evaporator and compressor. This will greatly lengthen the life of your freezer, and ultimately your freezer repair bills!
