Maximum pressure relief valve is designed for use with hot water heating systems and consists of a brass bonnet, a body in cast brass and, a seat in bronze. The 1/2" NPT automatic vent limiting device is used to relieve excessive pressures in hot water heaters and to prevent the siphoning of liquids from one container to another. It has an adjustable limit setting. This automatic vent controller opens at a predetermined pressure differential to relieve excess air or steam pressure and prevent over pressurization.

Maxitrol 187125 automatic vent limiting device is made of durable brass, and has a 4-way external port connection. This product has a manual end switch setting, that can be varied to limit the vent opening to 25% – 100%. Designed for gas fireplaces and other applications, this limiting device helps prevent the flow of smoke into a room when opened. In addition, it can prevent an over-air draft through an attached flue pipe, as well as reduce the amount of cold air drawn into the fireplace when closed.
