Schlage - 13-047 606 Deadlatch 234 - ND SERIES. Chrome finish. Schlage 606 deadlatch and latchbolt assembly with 2 3/8" throw and cylinder knob or lever function; latchbolt requires 1-3/8" backset.

The Schlage 13-047 606 Deadlatch is finished in Satin Nickel with a Schlage C Keyway for use with most standard locks. The Series 234 Deadlatch has a patented one piece construction, eliminating the bolt and handle from the deadbolt locking mechanism. This eliminates the possibility of the handle being removed from inside without a key, increasing security. A standard deadbolt can be converted to a deadlatch by simply changing out the existing hardware with Schlage 234 series hardware.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Schlage 13-047 606 Deadlatch is a mortised deadlocking latch designed specifically for use on hollow metal doors. This latch has a throw length of 3-3/8 Inch and is designed to accept 1 Inch face bore strike with a 13/16 inch diameter spindle hole. For 2-3/4 Inch backset, the latch uses a 1-1/8 inch diameter spindle hole and for 2-5/8 inch backset, the latch uses a 7/16 inch diameter spindle hole.
