How to replace a limit switch
Limit switches are required parts in a number of safety devices that stop the equipment from continuing to function when an unsafe condition is encountered. They also provide a means of sensing theta of liquid, air, or gas flow. These limit switches are installed on the furnace or other equipment that you are controlling and are set at a single predetermined temperature above which the control will not operate.
