The Amana 1370908S LIMIT SWITCH, L160-30F Limit Switch is required for the cooktop to operate. The limit switch performs as an operating cycle counter which enables the digital display to show the number of minutes used for each oven function.

The Amana Limit Switch, L160-30F, is constructed using a 3 pole double throw molded case switch. The blade is rated 5A @28VAC, 150VA and has solid state pilot duty so as to eliminate contact arcing. This limit switch has a certifying agency of UL and CSA.

Amana L Series Limit Switches are of a non-interchangeable, load sensing design with mechanical latching and electrical continuity. They are specifically designed to monitor high temperature, low temperature, or both, in the ovens of ranges or conveyor ovens.

Overload protection for motors and other uses, Maintains automatic operation across start-up or load conditions to the PID programmed value. Polyswitch is primarily used in furnace applications.
