Kwikset 152 Corporation plug following tool acts as a template for installing 2-piece security door locks with a round, curved latch. You can cut the plug to fit any hole size from 1 9/16" to 3 5/16". This tool has a 2 7/8" diameter base plate that fits around the lock body and an extender arm for adjusting to different latch lengths.

The Kwikset 152 plug follower tool is easy to use, and can be used for all Kwikset deadbolt locks. The Plug Following Tool (PFT-80) follows the plugs and looks for the locking hole and wire loop. If you have an existing Kwikset lock that has been drilled or rekeyed, this tool will help to ensure that proper installation is being done.

The Plug Following Tool helps to locate the Drive Pin/Tumbler when it is installed in the Lock Body. It can easily identify the depth of 6 picks depths (2s, 2f, 3s, 3f, 4v&5s) to help you pick out a tumbler.
