MetroPac Heat Exchangers are used to heat or cool a refrigerant from one temperature to a different temperature and are typically used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The MetroPac Heat Exchanger is made up of a series of tubes for the refrigerant to flow through the unit. Inside the tubes is an aluminum fin coil, with thousands of fins that have been stamped out forming each fin. Each fin has an end cap on it called the fin seal. The core material between each fin is typically copper, which transfers the heat energy from one tube to another tube in order to preform the heating or cooling process.
