ELECTRIC HEAT SEQUENCER 4 SWITCH
The WHITE-RODGERS 24A34-6 ELECTRIC HEAT SEQUENCER 4 SWITCH controls electric radiant heating equipment when installed as part of a complete central HVAC system. The Electronic Sequencing Control design allows the sequencer to operate in remote control applications or serve as a solid-state delay for manual systems.
The 24A34-6, a white-Rodgers brand electric heat sequencer 4 switch, is a high quality product manufactured and sold through Transtherm. This device is the ideal solution for most electrical heat sequencing applications in commercial, industrial and residential installations.
White-Rodgers 24A34-6 Electric Heat Sequencer 4 Switch The White-Rodgers 24A34-6 electric heat sequencer 4 switch is designed for controlling a furnace, water heater or boiler. If you are in need of an electric heat sequencer then the White-Rodgers 24A34-6 is the one for you.
The 24A34-6 Electromatic heat sequencer 4 switch features four separate operation modes: power off, hold, and 2 stage heat/cool with a built in 25 second latching timer. These features allow for more precise control over heating and cooling systems and is a replacement for the T863.
The 24A34-6 is a four-way, normally closed electric heat sequencer used to control the energizing of four single pole relays in sequence, according to a preprogrammed schedule. When all switches are off, power flows through the contacts normally open (NO) and closes the contacts normally closed (NC), allowing flow of current through the thermostat element and to the load. When sequencing is started, power is diverted from the NO terminals to the NC terminals for preprogrammed time intervals.
White-Rodgers offers electric heat sequencers in a variety of configurations to suit your specific home heating needs. They offer 2 and 3 pole mid-size models, which are ideal for residential applications of split-phase systems used with auxiliary heating, such as low voltage baseboard heaters or radiant flooring.
White-Rodgers 24A34-6 automatic electric heat sequencers are designed to control zone heating systems. They sequence units on and off according to established schedules. The 24A34-6 controls up to 4 heaters at once by means of a ceramic thermostat or a thermopile, and has a limit switch for each heater to monitor load flow. The sequencer also maintains multiple circuit programs.
