The CONB 29202A100 1/2" X 1" HI PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE FOR STEAM SET @ 210 ~~ 250 PSIG @ 200 C. features a NPT connection and is ANSI 150 rated. This safety valve has a maximum pressure of 250 psi and has a process connection of 1/2". Apollo Series 1/2" X 1" Steam Safety Valve is a self-contained pressure regulating device, providing protection against overpressures in the steam supply system. It incorporates two (2) vents that protect against leakage of condensate and vaporization and for ease of inspection. It is available in standard NPT connections with a gland nut or hexagon nut ends.

The 1/2 inch relief valve is designed to relieve the steam within the piping system in case of excess steam pressure. When installed in a system, it will release the excess steam into the atmosphere through a vent pipe or a hole. This type of valve is used with steam generating systems, such as industrial process plants and power plants. It is also used in hot water heater systems to keep it from encountering any physical damage that might occur due to too much pressure.
