The Heat Exchanger is an integral part of the air-conditioning system. It receives warm air from the blower, cools it, and sends it to the evaporator coil in the plenum where it is cooled further and flows into the room.

The Heat Exchanger is a component of your gas water heater. This part is intended to provide an exchange of thermal energy between the product fluid and heated gas. Your water heater has a built-in heat exchanger to help maintain efficiency and prevent damage to the tank.

The Amana heat exchanger is designed to keep the heat exchanger coils clean and sanitized through regular maintenance. It allows you to service the inside of the heat exchanger without having to gain access through the machine panel. The heat exchanger coil cleaner can be run on a normal cycle for up to 15 minutes.
