This Plug In Mercury Flame Sensor features a special flame-sensing bulb that provides early detection of rising temperatures and warns the control when a problem is building up. The bulb is located in an opening provided by the sensor.

The flame sensor features a low-profile design, an easy-to-operate reset button, internal adjustable flame detection level and dual calibration points to ensure proper monitoring. It is ideal for hot water heaters with elements up to 48 inches long.
In addition to the main burner, appliances may have an auxiliary pilot light for an oven or a broiler. For safety, all of these pilot lights must come on when the appliance is plugged in. The White-Rodgers mercury flame sensor features a built-in jumper for connecting multiple circuits together making it ideal for use in restaurants, cafeterias, and other commercial applications where ovens and broilers are often located next to each other.
This mercury flame sensor is part of the 5051-5054 Series modular control valve. It is used to remotely sense a natural gas or propane flame. The flame sensor is usually installed in a concealed area and does not require access to the combustible gas piping system.

The 5052 Mercury Flame Sensor is a 10-30VDC, 1/4" spade terminal compatible remote sensor with 1 pin and 2 1/4" w/ tab terminal. This flame sensing device contains the newest technology in heat sensing providing ultra-fast response time.
White-Rodgers 5052 Flame Sensor is designed to detect fire and automatically shut off the gas to the pilot when flame is not present. It can be used with a thermostat, or mechanical regulator to control gas flow. It features a pyrotechnic tripwire design for light and continuous duty applications.
