The inside and outside locking pins are held together by a spring and ball that permit the inside pin to be retracted when turned by a larger object such as a key or screwdriver. The 34-004 #4 Primus Finger Pins is used for both mortise and rim cylinder locks.

The Schlage Primus 34-004 #4 Pin is ideal for ornamentation applications where minimum side exposure is needed. The pin is very economical, yet strong. It features an 18 gauge zinc body and D shape shank. The finish is electro plated nickel.
