The 5088 series of 200F in 180F Cut-out Close on Rise Thermostat are Snap Disc Fan Control thermostats. These thermostats are Non-Programmable Dual Element (Non Modulating) and will work with a 1/2" Solenoid Valve.

WHITE-RODGERS 5088 Thermostats 200F in 180F Cut-out Close on Rise. This product is intended for use on White-Rodgers 5-wire snap disc fan control models only. This control includes a snap disc that opens at 180°, and an adjustment screw that allows the blades to close at a temperature between 180° and 205°. The 200F temperature disc can be used to reduce the sensitivity of the snap disc in locations where ambient temperatures are less than 60°.

The WHITE-RODGERS 5088 Thermostat allows the heating contractor to offer snap disc fan control for those commercial and industrial applications where the use of a snap disc is required.

Featuring PRECISE COLD SPOT CONTROL. It lets you select a portion of your home to heat or cool by simply repositioning the thermostat's sensor. The 5088 includes a SNAP-DISC FAN CONTROL that ensures smooth, quiet performance.

These new thermostats have a snap disc over a microswitch that provides an extra measure of protection by interrupting the power to the heating unit if the thermostat is opened more than 3/8" beyond the set point. This temperature limiting feature works in place of a hold-open latch or spring, and is controlled by the Quick-Snap disc. The Quick-Snap disc snaps aside when the thermostat is opened to its set position and snaps back into place to secure it at any other adjusted position.
